Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 25 at Grace Lutheran Church in Westbrook. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Westbrook Funeral Home with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.

Fay R. Kuehl, age 70 of Westbrook passed away Saturday, September 20, 2008 at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Fulda, MN. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 25 at Grace Lutheran Church in Westbrook. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Westbrook Funeral Home with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Fay R. Kuehl was born February 10, 1938 in Des Moines River Township, Murray County, to Albert and Mildred (Flor) Lintner. She was baptized on July 19 and confirmed July 20 of 1952 at Grace Lutheran Church in Westbrook. She graduated from Westbrook High School in 1955. On February 10, 1956, Fay was united in marriage to Bud Kuehl. Fay was active in Grace Lutheran Church and WELCA, volunteered at the nursing home, worked for a daycare for 8 years, and cooked at the hospital for 10 years. Her hobbies included making potato salad, gardening, sewing, and taking care of her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Fay is survived by her husband Bud of 52 ½ years; daughters: Deb (Craig) Jans of Westbrook, Julie (Paul) Nault of Omega, OK; 5 grandchildren: Ben Jans of Wichita, KS, Ryan (Tori) Anderson of Westbrook, Candice (Shawn) King of Windom, Bobby Jo (Billy) Womack of Kingfisher, OK, Kelly (Doug) Nault-Farrow of Loyal, OK; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings: Audrey Spielman, Bertie Hovde, Harris Lintner, Glen (Arlene) Lintner, Jeanette (Fred) Lindall, Gloria (Jim) Tighe, Ron (Nancy) Lintner; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
